Kellie Martin, she is an American actor and director of films, is most well-known for her role as Christy Huddleston in the period drama 'Christy", Rebecca Thatcher on the family drama Life Goes On> and Lucy Knight for the medical drama ER. In addition, she is famous for her role as the lead on the Hailey Dean Mystery. Martin is born to a department store buyer and kindergarten teacher, began her career acting at the age of seven, when her aunt who worked as a nanny to actor Michael Landon's children was able to help Martin land a role in 1983's show "Father Murphy". In the years following the time of her Yale University graduation, she started to focus on acting and was able to get major roles on both television and cinema. Martin was also a photographer and a dancer. The mother of two daughters, she's the Lupus ambassador and has been spreading awareness about the condition each day following the passing of her sister at age 19.
