Ashley attended the local high school in which she was a part of the drama club played football and performed dance. Upon matriculating in 2018 she chose not to enroll in a school but rather focus on acting. Ashley was cast as Jessica Finch for the 2011 comedy for families Judy Moody & the Not Bummer Summer. In 2012, Ashley voiced many bears and raccoons on the hit animated adventure film Ernest & Celestine featuring Forest Whitaker Lambert Wilson & Pauline Brunner. The movie received nominations and was awarded 29 awards which included an Oscar being one of them.
